For the 2009 inauguration of the Magritte Museum in Brussels, Almine Rech Gallery organized an exhibition in conjunction with the opening event on the theme of Magritte and light. The show aimed to present works from contemporary artists with an affinity to Magritte in order to express the great influence the latter has had on contemporary practices.

This book was published in conjunction with the exhibition Magritte et la Lumière held at Almine Rech Brussels, from May 16th to July 20th, 2009.
