A series of reflections on modern eroticism, 'Together' blends pornographic material with the artist's own drawings in vivid collage compositions. At times realistic, at times abstracted or even cartoon-like, Prince's portrayals of the naked human form merge male and female figures, and feature reflective additions or surreal embellishments—a medley of feet sprouting from the elegant leg of one of the female nudes. True to its title, Prince's composite series cleverly modifies explicit magazine material to disrupt our voyeuristic viewing habits.
