Farah Atassi’s first exhibition at Musée national Picasso-Paris is currently on view until January 29, 2023. On this occasion Almine Rech Editions invites you to discover the works the Belgian artist is exhibiting, as well as an interview, through this exhibition catalogue.

‘When looking at a Picasso painting, you are often struck by the lust he felt for his models. I capture these models in abstracto, devoid of the painter’s desire. I bestow them with a kind of autonomy by putting them on display. I picture them taking over their own narrative and rendering their status unsettling.’
