Features ‘Faire bouger les lignes de front’, an essay by Dominique Baqué, with a translation by Deke Dusinberre.

This book was published in conjuction with the exhibition ‘Terra d’Ombra’, held at Almine Rech Paris between March 3 and April 7, 2012 and the exhibition ‘…pour que passe enfin mon torrent d’anges’, held at Château de Haroué between March 4 and September 18, 2012.

Beatrice Caracciolo (born in 1955 in Italy) experiments with a variety of materials, starting with charcoal drawings in which collaged elements come to the fore. Her work is evocative of areas of fluctuation between solid and fluid states of matter, a way of declaring her obsession with the quasi-alchemical processes. Her work is concerned with ways to depict displacements of energy.

Kindly note that for purchases made outside the European Union, taxes and import duties are not included in the listed price and will be the responsibility of the buyer.

All limited edition prints are sold unframed unless otherwise specified.
