Almine Rech Editions is thrilled to announce the launch of 'Learning to Love', the first limited edition in collaboration with the London–based artist, Aly Helyer.

Helyer creates tightly framed worlds inhabited by androgynous figures that are both alien and familiar. Her paintings begin life as drawings often composed of fragments from magazines, memory and imagination. Relationships exploring tenderness and fragility, love and loss, emerge supported by a frame work of the formal elements and art history.
