The original piece that is depicted on the mug is a 1.8m tall bronze sculpture of the Hulk action hero, with a bunch of small critters standing on its powerful shoulders. The work imitates an inflatable toy to an astounding degree, which is characteristic for Koons, as inflatables have been an integral part of his artistic career since the 70s.
